Your specific experience in payroll compliance, tax and statutory compliance together with your experience with management accounting and reporting will be highly regarded in this role.
Key Requirements At least 5+ years experience in a bookkeeping/accounting team, preferably within a Chartered environment or a family office looking after multiple entities
A relevant bookkeeping and/or accounting qualification
Extensive experience across the Xero ecosystem
Full accounts payable and receivable management
Bank reconciliation processing
Advanced payroll, including payroll tax calculations and reconciliation of payroll balance sheet accounts (superannuation, PAYG withholding, FBT, annual leave, LSL and payroll tax)
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, adjusting journals and GST activity statement checks
Sound understanding of statutory reporting deadlines IAS, BAS, PRT and superannuation
Preparation of draft financial reports for review by our CFO team where relevant
Confident, professional client communication this is a client contact role, working proactively across multiple clients with a flexible can do attitude
Strong attention to detail, prioritisation and time management, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
We are seeking candidates who are available to work full time in the office with WFH opportunities on offer once established in role. Must have permanent work rights.
