How can I improve my computer skills?
DCL Recruitment provides tutorials for candidates to improve a range of computer skills. Call our office for more information or to make a booking.

How do I submit my timesheet?
  • Each week you work you are required to submit a timesheet and must be signed by your supervisor after your final shift of the week.
  • Please ensure all sections are completed and you tick either "completed" (if you are finished) or "continuing" (going back next week).
  • Your timesheet must be faxed to DCL no later than 9.30am each Monday on fax number 9905 0445.
  • When do I get paid following a temp assignment?
    Your pay will be available in you nominated account on Tuesday.

    How do I receive a pay slip?
    A pay slip and a new timesheet will be mailed to you detailing the amount paid and tax deductions. If there are any discrepancies with your pay please do not hesitate to call Robyn in the payroll department on 9905 3566.

    How does DCL Recruitment handle my personal information?
    DCL Recruitment complies with privacy legislation in regards to your personal information. For more details follow the link to our privacy policy.

    Do I receive superannuation when working in a temporary assignment?
    DCL will pay superannuation on your behalf as per government regulations. If you do not provide DCL with your own nominated super fund it will be paid into Recruitment Super

    Who pays my tax and superannuation when working in a temporary assignment?
    DCL Recruitment will pay tax and superannuation and you will also be covered by our Workers Compensation when you are employed as a temporary employee with one of our clients. Your group certificate will be forwarded to you at the end of the financial year.

    What do I do if I am sick and cannot attend my assignment?
    If you are sick and cannot attend your assignment you must notify DCL Recruitment as soon as possible. If this is outside office hours (8.30am-5.30pm) you can leave a detailed message on our answering machine 9905 3566.

    Do's and don'ts when working for DCL Recruitment

  • If you are unable to attend your assignment or if you are running late you must notify DCL Recruitment
  • Personal phone calls should be kept to a minimum and your mobile should be switched off while at work.
  • If you are issued with email and internet access, this should be used for work purposes only.
  • Dress and presentation should be appropriate for the workplace. Dress professionally, neat and tidy for an office environment; for warehousing you will need to dress neat and tidy with closed in shoes.
